Really good Stay!

friendly staffnice slippersgreat locationtasty selection
The staff were friendly and helpful. My room included nice slippers, a bathrobe, and a hairdryer. The location is great as it is just a short walk to the city. Breakfast included a tasty selection.
The room was a bit too warm. I could not figure out the air conditioning.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers convenient parking for fifteen pounds per day! It accommodates guest vehicles, though it can get busy. The hotel is a great choice with a good homely and friendly touch.
Location
10/10
The hotel is located just outside the stone gate entrance to the city, very close. It's only a five-minute walk to the heart of the city center, what a treat! The railway station is also within walking distance.
Rooms

The room decor looked lovely, with high ceilings adding to the ambiance. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. This was very convenient. Plenty of towels were available, and the tea and coffee were refreshed daily.

Luxurious Stay

spacious roomstand-alone bathexcellent wine listhidden parking costs
The Beautiful Room was spacious. It featured an enormous stand-alone bath. The wallpaper design was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast offered perfectly cooked full English. It also had a buffet with a good variety of items. The wine list was excellent. I enjoyed their Alsace Riesling. It was served perfectly chilled.
The hidden parking costs were not ideal. I think charging an extra fee to park your car is excessive when paying top prices for the room.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers ample parking space arriving by car. Common areas include cozy lounges and a well-stocked bar. These facilities provide a comfortable and relaxing experience for all visitors.
Dining
10/10
Breakfast includes both a buffet and cooked-to-order options. The full English breakfast features perfectly cooked items in appropriate portions. A variety of wines are available. The Alsace Riesling is a chilled option.

Balanced stay at the hotel

convenient locationeasy walkparking spacesold bathroomnoisy toiletcleaning quality
The location was convenient for accessing nearby places to eat. The hotel's location allowed for an easy walk into town. The staff were pleasant. I appreciate the available parking for £15, and I found plenty of spaces.
The bathroom seemed old and not especially clean. I could hear noise when the toilet was flushed. Hair bands were down by the windowsill, so cleaning was not thorough. THE toilet was not very clean.
